This design represents a traditional and cost-efficient alternative to stainless steel tanks, which became standard in later years. Thanks to their large volume and isobaric capability, these tanks are particularly suitable for high-capacity production environments. As with all epoxy-coated vessels, regular inspection and renewal of the internal coating is required, depending on operating conditions.
