2.1 Intended Use
The RFID read/write device RFU630-041xx is an intelligent 4Dpro sensor of the RFU6xx (UHF) product family. Version (operating range): Long Range.
The stationary device automatically identifies radio-based data carriers (transponders) on moving or stationary objects. The device also supports management of the data carriers.
The compact read/write unit processes the data of all common passive transponders via a maximum of 4 external antennas in accordance with ISO/TEC 18000-6C and EPCglobal UHFC1G2 within the region-specific UHF carrier frequency range. The device does not have an integrated (internal) antenna.
Intelligent process logic enables processing either as a stand-alone solution or grouped in network operation. The device sends the read results to a host computer via its host interface. The computer coordinates further data processing within the workflow.
Through its host interface, the device receives corresponding commands for data carrier management (writing, reading, etc.).
