DOS P Piston Dispensing System

Scheugenpflug piston dispensing systems operate on the principle of volumetric dispensing; the quantity of material dispensed is mechanically determined by the geometry and stroke of the associated cylinders. The cylinder is filled with the potting material via a connected material supply system. When a two-component medium is used, the ratio of resin to hardener is simultaneously determined by the volumes of the two cylinders. The dispensing pistons simultaneously force both components through separate channels toward the outlet valve, where they only mix within the static mixing tube to form a homogeneous, reactive medium.
The DOS P016 / 050 / 100 / 300 / TCA piston dispensing systems are high-precision volumetric units designed to process both single-component (1K) and two-component (2K) materials, covering a wide spectrum of application requirements. Precisely dimensioned dispensing cylinders ensure the delivery of reproducible material volumes.
For 2K materials, the parallel emptying of both cylinders into the shared mixing tube ensures a consistently stable mixing ratio at all times, thereby guaranteeing maximum process reliability. At the same time, this method allows for the gentle handling of potting media that are sensitive to pressure, moisture, or shear forces, without the risk of material degradation.
