Sartorius Stedim biotech BioWelder 16370
The BioWelder uses a thermal welding cycle that does not require laminar flow.
With this welding method, the blade is kept sterile and endotoxin-free throughout the process.
The inserted tubes are cut with a knife and then fused together by the device.
The cycle process is fully automated and is only released after a complete cycle.
Various programmable holders allow thermoplastic tubing of the same type (e.g., C-Flex, Sanipure, Pharmed) with diameters from 1/4" (6.4 mm) to 3/4" (19.0 mm) to be fused together.
