The PF units are divided into two sections: PF1-5 (old installation) and PF6-9 (new installation). Only one section operates at a time according to operational requirements. The overall workload is approximately balanced, so each section runs about 4,400 hours annually. The sand filters are regularly backwashed after each operational cycle (80 hours) or when the pressure loss reaches ΔP 25 kPa. The system is fully operational.
PF Reconstruction:
PF1-5: 10.11.2015 – complete replacement of sand, nozzles, and shell surface maintenance
PF6-9: 13.7.2018 – complete replacement of sand, nozzles, and shell surface maintenance.
