It can be used as a 4th axis on engraving and milling machines for engraving, laser processing, drilling, milling slots, or on tool and surface grinding machines. Square, hexagonal, and gear milling of any pitch, or 3D machining are possible.

Precision worm gear with a reduction ratio of 100:1.
Output torque well over 25 Nm.
The drive is powered by a controlled 1.8-degree stepper motor with 3.2A and a holding torque of 1.2 Nm.

The worm and worm gear are manufactured in-house, guaranteeing the highest precision. The pair is mounted on four ball bearings and adjusted for zero backlash, and can be readjusted.
The one-piece, stable output spindle is equipped with a faceplate, d=108 mm, with an MK 1 internal taper and a through hole of 10.3 (optional M12 internal thread).
The electronic control as a handy module with 14 travel programs and 2 reference point travels as well as step monitoring with a power supply is included in the package.
The optimized pre-programming is done in 360 (for milling operation), 180, 120, 90, 72, 60, 45, 36, 30, 20, 10, 5, 1, 0.02 incremental repeat cycles, right and left travel, and cycle pauses, which can of course be programmed.
With the software you can:
Travel programs and cycles; absolute or incremental travel values. The actual value of the rotary axis can be easily queried at any time using the software. Using an output, you can receive start pulses from an NC machine. Complex scaling divisions, transverse bores or gears can be produced quickly.

In addition, you can now use a start pulse to run several different travel angles one after the other.
For example, incrementally 30 degrees, then 3 degrees, then 90 degrees, then 1.45 degrees, with or without a pause, or rotate back.

Ideal for Hermle, Chiron, DMG Mori, Maho, Deckel FP1, G1, Jung, Mikron or Gravograph.
NEW: As an additional option, all 16 travel steps as well as start and reference commands can now be controlled externally by your NC control system using M-functions.
