OVERVIEW

This Permeare ADA 600-1000 ion exchange resin unit, manufactured in 2020, is designed for the treatment of food-grade liquids, especially wine and must. The system can be used for tartaric stabilization of red and white wines and musts by means of ion exchange resin technology. The machine is a compact, skid-mounted treatment unit with four vertical resin columns, stainless steel pipework, a dosing pump system and an integrated electrical control cabinet. The system operates with two resin columns working alternately, allowing one column to be in production while another column is regenerated. The process is controlled by PLC and monitored via a Siemens SIMATIC Touch Panel and a Mettler Toledo M200 analytical controller. The unit is manufactured with metallic parts in AISI 316 stainless steel, while the plastic parts are specified as suitable for food industry use. The resin volume is listed as 120 litres. The maximum column flow is indicated as approx. 40 hl/h. The machine is supplied with documentation including instruction manual, P&ID process diagram and electrical schematics.
