MODUL / SERWEMA ZFWZ 10 / SW WF 1000

A ZFWZ 10 module for large gears up to 1250 mm in diameter and module 22, which was completely overhauled in 2009 by SerWeMa and converted to a Siemens Sinumerik 840D with six CNC axes. The machine is in operational condition in our hall in Chemnitz: you can inspect it while it is running, have us mill your own sample part if you wish, and collect it from us. No lead time, no risk. Sold by Serwema Retrofit Solutions, the company that performed the overhaul, owns the module drawing archive, and knows the machine inside and out.

The ZFWZ 10 is the classic Chemnitz gear hobbing machine for gearbox construction, crane and conveyor technology, mining, and heavy machinery: heavy cast iron bed, 1200 mm table, milling head with ±45° swivel range. It mills spur and helical gears up to module 16 in hobbing and up to module 22 in single indexing. With 1000 mm of axial travel between the milling head axis and the table surface, long shafts and tall workpieces can be securely clamped. The Sinumerik 840D controls all six axes with an electronic gear train; the SerWeMa gear software guides you through workpiece and tool data via masks, without the need for programming.

Equipment: Siemens Sinumerik 840D control with six CNC axes, machine enclosure, magnetic chip conveyor, circulating and loss lubrication, hydraulic unit, coolant system, operating manual. The 840D powerline control generation is no longer being developed by Siemens; we offer, as an option, an upgrade to Siemens Sinumerik ONE with Sinamics S120 and a new control cabinet, either before delivery or later at your facility – in which case, a warranty will be provided on the new electrical equipment. Also optional: sample part milling in our factory, geometry acceptance according to DIN, assembly and commissioning at your site, operator training. Spare parts and service are provided by a single source, worldwide, even after the purchase.
