The Mark V model is rightly considered one of the most beautiful convertibles of the 40s / 50s, and is on a par with the most exclusive cars of that time. It was built only from 1948 to 1951 and in very small numbers.

Only 971 of these fantastic cars were built, only 577 of them

The car was sold to the USA after production in 1950, and was registered only once in California. In the early 90s, the car was brought back to Europe.

There it was completely disassembled in years of meticulous work, and in the context of an extensive restoration piece by piece into a real top condition. Here, without regard to the cost, really everything was done that was necessary to transform the car into a visual and technical eye-catcher.

The Jaguar was completely gutted and the bodywork, interior and electrics were overhauled or replaced with original spare parts. As part of this work, a complete repaint was carried out inside and out, and the color lavender grey was replaced by black, also an original Jaguar color that suits the car much better. The seats were reupholstered, and covered with new red leather, also the carpets were completely renewed, and all the wood was reworked.

In 2012 / 2013, the technology was again extensively revised, here the drivetrain was completely overhauled, and various wear parts replaced. In addition, all work was carried out for the H-approval, which took place in 2013. In this period alone, work was carried out for over 18,000 euros, the invoices are available.

All add-on parts of the car are in excellent condition, all functions are flawless. The car is absolutely rust-free, and was extensively protected against corrosion within the restoration work.
After the restoration, the car was placed in a closed shed, and since then has covered a total of only 290 miles in motion driving and MOT.

All documentation is of course supplied with the vehicle, as well as extensive photographic material of the work carried out. A current value appraisal is just as present as letter and bill, in addition you receive a birth certificate of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.
