The machine was last used in a prototype workshop of a large company and has not been used for many years.

The coordinate drilling machine features the rare option of motorized table drive in the X and Y axes and potentiometers. This eliminates the need for tedious manual adjustment of individual coordinates over long distances using hand cranks. Furthermore, it has rare thermal stabilization and expansion compensation. Two heaters are provided for this purpose, which can and must be switched on separately before starting work to maintain high accuracy and dimensional precision. This explains the factory-specified high positioning accuracy of 0.002 mm with a resolution of 0.001 mm.

What is unique is that the Hauser has two Heidenhain digital displays with a total of 4 glass scales with 1My resolution, also for the quill feed. This is a great advantage for precise drilling and milling in depth with Wohlhaupter, spindle tools, etc. With the mentioned options and in this first-class condition, it is currently a unique piece on the market and highly likely not available again in this configuration.
