The 3D ultrasonic cutter from Fill enables three-dimensional contour cutting of fiber-reinforced plastics using ultrasound-actuated cutting systems.

The principle:
The linear axis portal enables precise guidance of the ultrasonic cutter with low space requirements and simple kinematics.
The Siemens CNC 840 D control system allows the cutting device to be programmed like a machine tool.

Tool corrections or path changes can be easily carried out directly on the machine.
As standard, the machine is equipped with a 20 kHz ultrasonic cutting unit.
However, it can also be equipped with alternative systems. The cutter is equipped with a separate rotary axis
to allow cutting of tight radii and to save other axis movements (5 + 1 axes).
