The quality of the INDUSTRIE 230 HD models becomes clear as soon as you switch them on: barely audible drive noise. No vibrations at large cutting depths. In fact, at 2,635, 2,835 and 3,055 kg, the 230 HD models are the heaviest in their class and, thanks to their extremely robust design - e.g. high-frequency hardened prismatic guides - are ideally suited for heavy-duty and continuous operation.

At 80 mm, the 230 HD offers an extra-large spindle bore for processing bar stock up to 2 1/2 inches in diameter (76.1 mm). A turning size via slides of Ø 290 x 1,000, 1,500 or 2,000 mm and a maximum turning diameter of 460 or 700 mm leave almost nothing to be desired for machine, steel, plant and tool construction - as well as 12 speeds for 170 longitudinal and cross feeds and 150 leadscrew pitches for metric and inch threads.
