The 2 tons/hour Belt Dryer System (model ABT 1/2000-8) is an industrial drying unit manufactured by ASOS PROSES MAKİNA SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş. (Turkey). It is designed for the continuous drying of granular or particulate materials such as pet food, cereals, grains, feed, agricultural products, and similar bulk goods. The system operates indoors on a single production line, 24 hours per day, under ambient temperatures of 5–35 °C and relative humidity between 60–80 %, at sea level.
The machine is engineered to reduce moisture content from 28 % to 12 %, with a feed rate of 2,000 kg/h, evaporating 364 kg of water per hour, and delivering a dry output of 1,636 kg/h. It requires 364,000 kcal/h of thermal energy, typically provided by combustible gas, with a drying temperature range of 50–60 °C. Total electrical consumption is 37 kW, with 46.2 kW installed power, powered at 400 V / 3-phase / 50 Hz, and an estimated nominal current of ≈ 78.5 A. Noise levels are below 85 dB(A) at 1 m. The required installation space is 4 m (width) × 10 m (length) × 4 m (height).
The Belt Dryer unit has a drying surface of 16 m², a belt width of 2,000 mm, and a length of 8,000 mm. It uses a single-pass polyester belt. Both upper and lower casings are made of galvanized steel with rock wool insulation on heated surfaces. Inspection hatches and instrument sockets are provided on both sides for easy access and monitoring.

The system includes a spreader unit for uniform material distribution, a burner chamber (400,000 kcal/h, carbon steel), and a set of circulation and exhaust fans (galvanized steel, direct drive, VSD). Multiple motors (totaling 46.2 kW) drive feeding, mixing, drying, ventilation, and heat exchange equipment.
Control is managed through a floor-standing MCC and PLC cabinet (IP55, 600×4000×2200 mm), equipped with a Siemens S7-1500 PLC, 17" SCADA touchscreen (TP1900), Profinet communication, and ABB/Danfoss VSDs. All signal and power cables and galvanized trays are included, along with galvanized structural supports.
The system is suitable for industrial-scale drying operations in the food, feed, agricultural, and processing industries, offering stable performance, low noise, and automated control. It is built for durability with galvanized steel construction, easy maintenance access, and optional on-site erection and commissioning by ASOS engineers. Delivery time is typically 10–12 months from advance payment, and the equipment is guaranteed for one year against material and manufacturing defects
