Technical condition
The robot starts up correctly and communicates with the IRC5 controller. The operator panel displays message 38200 – Battery backup lost. This indicates a loss of power to the battery that supports the encoders (SMB Battery). This is a typical message after the battery has been discharged or disconnected and does not indicate a defect in the robot. After replacing the battery, a calibration/axis synchronization procedure will be necessary.
