Double-sided processing
This highly efficient method allows for double-sided edge rounding and oxide layer removal from laser-cut components in just one operation. Costly turning of often very heavy workpieces or processing the parts twice is no longer necessary. Compared to single-sided grinding machines, this results in up to 60% time savings.

Single-sided processing – Dry
The SMD-5 series sets new standards for perfect surface finishing. Thanks to the modular design of the grinding machines, our customers can quickly and flexibly respond to changing production requirements. This makes it possible to integrate the grinding machines efficiently and reliably into the respective production line and significantly increase output. The quick and easy tool change, as well as the reduction of dust, dirt, and noise emissions, significantly improve the working environment. The SMD-5 series features up to five freely configurable processing units and enables surface treatment of workpieces up to 160 mm in material thickness, as well as simultaneous deburring of internal and external contours.

Single-sided processing – Wet
With its wet grinding process, the SMW-5 series is particularly suitable for processing mixed materials. From high-quality surface finishes to fine grinding, as well as simultaneous deburring of internal and external contours, everything is possible. The up to four freely configurable processing units can be electrically adjusted or switched on and off individually. The SMW-5 series enables surface treatment of workpieces up to 120 mm in material thickness along with simultaneous deburring of internal and external contours.
