Welcome!

Since 1898 – for over 100 years – we have been a reliable partner and full-service provider to the agricultural community in the Hohenlohe region. Throughout this long history, we have continuously developed and adapted to the needs of our customers. With the retrospective merger of BAG Ellwangen into BAG Hohenlohe effective 30 April 2013, we have marked another significant milestone on our path into the future.

A fundamental trend is the transformation from a traditional trading partner to an integrated cooperative trading and service company. An increasingly complex world, rapid technological advancement, high market volatility, extensive regulatory requirements, and the decreasing half-life of knowledge require partners like BAG-Hohenlohe (BAG = Purchasing and Marketing Cooperative), who support farmers with in-depth advice and targeted information.
In short: we stand by farmers with advice and practical support.

Our business divisions include traditional agricultural trade, the collection and marketing of agricultural products, agricultural engineering, our Raiffeisen stores, and insurance services. Automotive operations are handled through BAG-Auto-GmbH, a subsidiary of BAG Hohenlohe. Our energy and fuel station activities have been consolidated with two strong partners in EDi-Energie-Hohenlohe-GmbH.

The 2,200 farmers, as well as regional Volks- and Raiffeisen banks, are the cooperative’s members and owners of BAG Hohenlohe. The members elect volunteer board members who influence corporate policy in the interests of Hohenlohe’s agriculture.
